PAYMENT OF BILLS Motion to pay the bills as presented. Motion to approve the additional payment of $1,175 to Moses Electric for installation of new pole that was part of an insurance claim. 2. Motion to retain Jean Warren as an independent contractor starting June 1, 2022 at a rate of $35 per hour on an as-needed basis. 3. Motion to revoke the April 26, 2022 motion approving transfer of $400 from the General Fund to the American Rescue Plan Fund for IT services. 4. Moton to transfer $800 from the American Rescue Plan to the General Fund for IT services. 2 5. Motion to transfer $60.37 from the Special Project Account to the General Fund for a TAN refund. 6. Motion to adopt Ordinance 2022-03 to place a stop sign at 4th & Walker, as advertised in The Mon Valley Independent. 7. Motion to adopt Ordinance 2022-04, an amusement device tax ordinance, amending Ordinance 553, as advertised in The Mon Valley Independent. 8. Motion to approve uniform rental from Aramark for Cole Buchina of the Streets Department. 9. Motion to appoint Martin J. Steiner to the Elizabeth Borough Zoning Board through December 31, 2023. 10. Motion to appoint Andrew W. Miklos, Jr. to the Elizabeth Borough Zoning Board through December 31, 2024. 11. Motion to approve a Special Event Application for the Elizabeth Borough VFC Bike Night on Monday evenings June through October. 12. Motion to approve a Letter of Intent to PA DCED requesting technical assistance for a Regional Police Consolidation. 13. Motion to approve payment of $50,000 from the General Fund towards the TAN. PUBLIC COMMENTS GOOD OF THE ORDER • Elizabeth Borough Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony will be held Monday, May 30, 2022. • Movies in the Park are scheduled as follows: ▪ June 10 Angels in the Outfield ▪ July 8 Shrek ▪ August 12 Transformers ▪ September Little Giants • A homeowner and business owner flood education workshop is being held May 25, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at the Homewood Branch of the Carnegie Library.
