Jay Leatherman Subject: Loan from Water Fund to General Fund Expenditures from the following Capital Project Funds have been made from the General Fund cash account. We are awaiting reimbursement from several outside sources for these expenditures. However, because the money will not be received prior to June 30, 2020, the end of our fiscal year, we need to borrow the money from our \iVater Fund temporarily until the outside funds are received. Following Funds that we are borrowing from the Water Fund to cover: Fund 121-Greene's Lake and Recreation Area - $200,000 of which $140,000 will be reimbursed from FEMA as soon as the State completes it's final review and $60,000 from the PARTF grant to develop the Park. Fund 123-Elizabethtown Rescue & Fire Facility - $503,000 which we have requested from the Golden Leaf Grant. Fund 125 - Cemetery - $260,000 that will be reimbursed from FEMA. Fund 48 -Airport Terminal Building - $55,000 that will be reimbursed from the Aviation Federal Block Grant. These expenses have been previously approved by Council. This borrowing is for the sole purpose of maintaining the General Fund balance for the year-end audit. As the monies are received from the various funding sources, the loan to the Water Fund will be repaid. The total loan to the General Fund from the Water Fund will be $1,018,000.
