Councilwoman Williams-Harper – Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval for the White Pine High School Welding Instructor to remove metal from the Landfill to be used in class. 3. Board Members – City Engineer Almberg – Discussion/For Possible Action - Approval to relinquish Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Right-of-Way grant N-046992 as the need to construct two water tanks at this location no longer exists. Mayor Robertson – Great Basin Water Network (GBWN) Executive Director Kyle Roerink – Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval to reallocate $10,000 in 45G tax monies, previously committed to Nevada Northern Railway Foundation legal expenses, as a donation to the Great Basin Water Network to research water permit transfers in Steptoe Valley approved by the Nevada Division of Water Resources, which research will be presented to the Ely City Council following its completion. 3. Mayor Robertson – Discussion/For Possible Action – Acknowledgement of White Pine County District Attorney Office’s termination of the Interlocal Agreement to Provide Prosecutor Services as of December 31, 2024. 4. Mayor Robertson – Discussion/For Possible Action – Interview of City Attorney candidate Chris Arabia, including discussion regarding requested employment terms, with possible appointment as City Attorney. Mayor Robertson – Discussion/For Possible Action – Confirmation of Mayoral appointment of Councilwoman Melody Van Camp as a member of the Redevelopment Advisory Committee. 8. Mayor Robertson – Discussion/For Possible Action – Selection of a member of the City Council to be a signatory on the City of Ely accounts at the First National Bank of Ely. 9. Councilwoman Elliott – Discussion Only – Update on Porter Group efforts on the City of Ely’s behalf to secure federal and State funding. 10. Councilwoman Williams-Harper – Discussion Only – White Pine Chamber of Commerce monthly report on community activities. 11. Council Members – City Fire Chief Stork – Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between City of Ely and Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3 regarding the modification of Exhibit A of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) to evenly split the 5% wage rate increase and apply it equally between two employees jointly assuming the EMS Coordinator position with this Memorandum having a term of one (1) year from the date of execution. 12. Council Members - City Fire Chief Stork – Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval of the Cooperative Agreement for Emergency Medical Services between the City of Ely and the Duckwater Shoshone Tribe, effective January 1, 2025. 13. Council Members – City Clerk Lee – Discussion/For Possible Action – Review of Consultant Selection Procedures on Statements of Qualifications submitted for the Central Ely Sewer Upgrade Project, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Funded Project #97T10501, with interviews to be conducted of each proposer and final selection based solely on the average of the interview score. 9.
