PUBLIC PROVIDER GROUND EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION INTER-GOVERNMENTAL TRANSFER (PP-GEMT-IGT) PROGRAM Request the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2023-62 authorizing the Escondido Fire Department to participate in the Public Provider Ground Emergency Transportation Inter- Governmental Transfer (PP-GEMT-IGT) program that was established by the legislature and Governor (AB 1705) and managed by the Department of Health Care Services; authorize the Fire Chief or his designee to execute grant documents on behalf of the City; and approve budget adjustments needed to pay the City’s proportional amount of the non-federal matching funds required by the State and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
