As a precaution against spreading COVID-19, the City will be conducting the Planning Commission meeting
remotely. Due to the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” Order, we are not able to provide a place for
community to gather to view or attend the Planning Commission meeting.

Item 1: Rethink Zoning
The Planning Commission will consider their recommendations to City Council on the following:
• Amendment of Chapter One (Introduction) and Chapter Two (Land Use Element) of the Everett
Comprehensive Plan
• Amend the Everett Municipal Code, including Chapter 2.96 (Historical Commission), Chapter 13.68
(Street Construction), repeal of all current chapters of Title 15 and adoption of three new chapters
(Local Project Review Procedures), repeal of all chapters of Title 18 (Land Divisions), repeal of 51
chapters of Title 19 (Zoning), amendment of four chapters of Title 19 and adoption of 31 new chapters
into Title 19 (being renamed the “Unified Development Code”)
The public hearing has been closed but the written record remains open until September 8, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
