CITY OF EVERETT PLANNING COMMISSION TUESDAY – September 15, 2020 at 6:30 PM As a precaution against spreading COVID-19, the City will be conducting the Planning Commission meeting remotely. Due to the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” Order, we are not able to provide a place for community to gather to view or attend the Planning Commission meeting. AGENDA -Planning Commission Roll Call -Approval of Minutes -Reports of members and committees – Staff comments Item 1: Housing Hope – Public Hearing on Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezone (REVV19-005) A public hearing to consider an application by Housing Hope to amend the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map from Single Family to Multifamily, and the Zoning Code Map from R-1 (single-family attached low-density residential) to R-3 (multiple-family, medium-density). The application has been revised to modify the area subject to map amendments, and to propose modification of the Norton-Grand Historic Overlay for the eastern portion of the project area. In addition, the revised application also includes a proposal for a development agreement that would address future plan review approval, uses allowed on the property, maximum density, historic design review and street access.
