MEETING CALLED TO ORDER President Larissa called meeting to order at 2:13pm. Present: Larissa Frausto Lesley Acevedo Jamesa Scales Sierra Sibley Leah Martinez Absent: Michael Brown Dawon Smith 2. Voting Yea: Martinez, Sibley, Scales, Acevedo, Frausto Motion Carried. 5. CITIZEN’S COMMENTS No citizens present to comment. 6. DISCUSSION ITEMS 1. MYAC Initiative- Community Rec Center Brain Grossman from Grossman design presented to the committee who he is and what his company does. He also explained what they would want to keep in mind when coming up with the design of the Community Rec Center. This would include all to the building with how many rooms, how many floors and so on. Once that is complete and the design is in place in a Concept Plan then they would move to the price of the project. The council discussed all their ideas and Brian wrote down all the information he needed to come up with a design for the Community Rec Center. Brain was very impressed with the council and their ideas and thought they put into this project. This project will come back for discussion. 7. CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION 8. According to the City of Everman Policy on Governance Process, individual citizen comments will be restricted to three (3) minutes unless otherwise determined by a majority vote of the Council. The Presiding Officer of the Board or Commission is responsible to enforce the time limit. Citizens may address the Board or Commission either during the Citizen Comments portion of the meeting or during deliberation of a listed agenda item. Members of the Board or Commission are only permitted by Law to discuss items that are listed on the agenda. Citizens wishing to make comments should notify the City Secretary as soon as possible. City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Parking spaces for disabled citizens are available. Requests for sign interpretative services must be made 48 hours prior to the meeting.
