City of Excelsior Hennepin County, Minnesota MINUTES EXCELSIOR SPECIAL MEETING SESSION May 2, 2018 1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL: Mayor Gaylord called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m. Present: Councilmembers Beattie, , Caron, Miller, and Mayor Gaylord Absent: Councilmember Carlson Also Present: City Attorney Staunton, and Planning Director Smith 2. AGENDA APPROVAL Beattie moved, Caron seconded, to approve the agenda. Motion carried 4/0. 3. TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE BRGERS AND BINGO BY THE BAY EVENT ON SATURDAY, MAY 5, 2018 Beattie moved, Caron seconded, to approve the issuance of a Temporary Liquor License to the Rotary Club of Lake Minnetonka-Excelsior, Inc. for Saturday, May 5, 2018 with the conditions outlined in the Temporary Liquor License Application. Motion Carried 4/0. 4. SINGLE-FAMILY SCALE STANDARDS Beattie moved, Caron seconded, to approve the second reading of Ordinance No. 580 as amended. Motion carried 4/0. 5. SELECT A MEETING DATE TO REVIEW THE 810 EXCELISOR BOULEVARD PROPOSALS The Council said June 4th as their first choice and June 18th as a second. Staff will follow up with Councilmember Carlson and select the date. 6. ADJOURNMENT Beattie moved, Miller seconded, to adjourn at 6:50 p.m. Motion carried 5/0.
