City of Excelsior City Council Special Work Session MINUTES Monday, October 11, 2021 5:30 P.M. – 6:30 P.M. 1. Call to Order/Roll Call Mayor Carlson called the work session to order at 5:30 P.M. City Council: Mayor Carlson and Councilmembers Caron, Dierking, and Hersman Absent: Councilmember Kurschner Also Present: City Manager Luger, City Attorney Staunton, and City Clerk Williams 2. Agenda Approval Dierking moved, Hersman seconded, to approve the October 11, 2021 City Council Special Work Session agenda. Motion carried 4/0. 3. SLMPD Joint Powers Agreement The Council continued their review of the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department Joint Powers Agreement and provided feedback on sections 3-14. Mayor Carlson and City Manager Luger will bring comments back to the Council from the October 13, 2021 Quarterly Coordinating Committee Meeting. 4.
