Minutes
Members Present: Corey Jannicelli, Rosemary Ziskind, Laura Hull, Letty Hardi, Barb Cram,
Marybeth Connelly, Ed Henderson, Ron Anzalone
Guests: None
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Corey Jannicelli at 9:38 am.
Minutes: Meeting minutes from October
TLCCF Report:
o Planning has begun for Watch Night
Development Update:
West Falls Church Project
o Bus tour of Falls Church scheduled for developers on Dec 3
o Site Plan should be submitted in January
Mr. Browns Park
o Mural proposal is moving forward but installation may need to wait until
spring when the weather warms up
o Future mural opportunities may be available on other walls
High School Project
o No update
Library
o No update
Broad and S. Washington
o Insight properties have signed a 20 year lease with Whole Foods
o Expect new plans will be submitted soon
o No changes to agreement with Creative Cauldron
Old Business:
Public Art Policy Guidelines
o Meeting was held with Rec & Park, Planning and CMO staff along with A&H
Council members to discuss next steps for the Public Art Policy
o Planning Department is supportive of more murals in the city
Arts & Cultural District
o Department of Community Planning & Economic Development Services has
submitted a proposal for UVA Class to research and recommend a Arts &
Cultural District Map

Traffic Boxes
o The majority of the box has been completed and we hope CSI can complete
the wrap this month weather pending.
Heritage Days
o Submit event description with dates and times to Barb Cram for general 2020
calendar
o Still looking for wayfinding banners that went missing during the City Hall
move and looking to replace missing banners.
New Business:
Time will be scheduled during the January meeting to discuss A&H Council 2020
goals.
The following goals were suggested
o The Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation requested the A&H Council and City
support the organization’s History Mural and Sidewalk proposal, “Written in
Stone”.
o Work to complete the Online Museum started on thelittlecity.org website
o Discuss a wayfinding map for Arts & Culture with the EDA
Roundtable:
Nov 30 – A Very Victorian Christmas from 10 am to 2 pm at Cherry Hill Farmhouse
Dec 7- Children’s Holiday Shoppe from 10 am to 2pm at Cherry Hill Farmhouse
Dec 14 –Dec 15 – Holiday Teas at Cherry Hill Farmhouse 2 pm to 4pm
Nov 22 –Closing weekend of Jungle book at Creative Cauldron
Dec 6 – Dec 23 – Madeline Christmas at Creative Cauldron
Dec 8 – Dec 22 – Christmas Cabaret at Creative Cauldron
Nov 23 – Opening of Pieces and Parts exhibit
Nov 21 – 23 – High School Musical, A Chorus Line, $10 adults and $5 students
Dec 6 & 7 – Treefest at Four Ps, with students from the High School singing during the
event.
Dec 2 – Tree Lighting at Mr. Brown’s Park
High School class visited 38 North Studio for tour and the company is interested in
opening up its space for public events.
