February 2023 Citizens Advisory Committee on Transportation Meeting Minutes 1) Meeting is called to order at 7:00 p.m. 2) Administration a. Roll call a. Review January Minutes 3) Public Comment a) John has applied to join the committee 4) Discussion of Neighborhood Traffic Calming (NTC) Handbook Update a) Presentation by Kerri on the City Council work item, the previous discussions with CACT and NTC Staff the current redlined version b) Concern over Risk Assessment formula and other comments sent in, feeling that not all comments were addressed. c) Decision to table item with directive for staff to publish all commentary and again review formula 5) NTC Monthly Update a) Announcement of staffing changes and decision to pause all cases pending progress on the Greenway Downs project b) Discussion of next steps in Greenway Downs, impending meeting 6) CACT Annual Retreat, Part 2 a) Review of Part 1 of the Retreat b) Information given on public meeting laws, FOIA, Robert Rules of Order, and Example Rules of Procedure c) Questions over FOIA laws when it comes to digital communication d) Discussion of specific rules to include in the Rules of Procedure e) Agreement for staff to send draft in the following week, CACT members to send comments within the next week, and staff to make edits and address those comments in a comment matrix and make edit to the draft for the following meeting The City of Falls Church is committed to the letter and spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
