MINUTES OF COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS COMMITTEE MEETING PURPOSE OF MEETING: To interview prospective candidates for appointment to boards and commissions, to discuss applicants and/or reappointments, and to conduct exit interviews with previous board and commission members. The commission shall be composed of five members appointed by the city council. The terms of office of the members of the commission shall be four years, with the exception of the first slate of appointees in which two appointees shall have two-year terms and three appointees shall have four-year terms. *Arts and Humanities Council – 2 applicants for one available term. **Public Utilities Commission – currently 6 applicants for 5 terms.
