PURPOSE OF MEETING: To advise the City Council on human services delivery to Falls
Church citizens.

APPROVAL of MINUTES: The minutes from the November 17, 2022 meeting were approved.
NEW BUSINESS:
Community Services Fund presentations for Fiscal Year 2023
• Chair Roth shared thoughts on items to keep mind for recommendations. She also gave
presenters from applicant organizations instructions on how much time they would have
to speak. Staff Patel went over items (ranking instructions and presentation schedule) that
were given to Commissioners in preparation for tonight. He also shared the timeline for
this process. All recommendations will have to go to Council by March 6.
• The group decided that they would meet on February 22, 2023 at 6:30 pm to go over and
make recommendations. This is a rescheduled date as one member was not available on
the regular February 23 date.

comments will be provided to the Human Services Advisory Council members and comments
received by the deadline will be read during the meeting.
