REPORT ON STUDY SESSION ITEMS F. MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER'S REPORT ON ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST Pursuant to Section 551.0415 of the Texas Government Code, the City Council or City Administration may report information on the following items: 1) expression of thanks, congratulations or condolences, 2) information about holiday schedules, 3) recognition of individuals, 4) reminders about upcoming City events, 5) information about community events, and 6) announcements involving an imminent threat to public health and safety, and 7) reports from Council Liaisons to supported organizations. G. CITIZEN COMMENTS This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the City Council on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the City Council should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Card and submit it to the City Secretary or Mayor prior to the start of the City Council meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The City Council is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the City Council may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the City Manager and/or City Administration for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. CONSENT AGENDA H.1 20-272 Consider approving the following City Council meeting minute(s); and take appropriate action · June 9, 2020 · June 16, 2020 H.2 R2020-75 Consider approving Resolution No. 2020-75 authorizing the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Weaver Consultants Group, LLC for Phase F for the landfill gas collection system at Camelot Landfill for the design, permitting, and construction quality assurance services; and take appropriate action. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS I.1 20-314 Receive an update from Dallas Central Appraisal District I.2 R2020-78 Consider approving Resolution No. 2020-78 authorizing a contract with Stoic Civil Construction, Inc. for construction of the Farmers Branch Creek Erosion Control Repair - City Infrastructure Project; and take appropriate action I.3 R2020-79 Consider approving Resolution No. 2020-79 authorizing a contract with Ark Contracting Services, LLC for construction of the Farmers Branch Creek Erosion Repair E7 Project; and take appropriate action I.4 20-331 Consider approving the Farmers Branch Historical Park Strategic Plan 2020-2025; and take appropriate action I.5 R2020-81 Consider approving Resolution No. 2020-81 authorizing a local Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding program; and take appropriate action J. EXECUTIVE SESSION City of Farmers Branch Page 3 Printed on 6/23/2020 City Council Meeting Agenda June 23, 2020 J.1 20-332 Council may convene into a closed executive session pursuant to Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate regarding: · Discuss the purchase, exchange, lease, or sale of real property located south of Valwood, north of Farmers Branch Lane, east of HI35 and west of Josey Lane (City owned property); and · Discuss the purchase, exchange, lease, or sale of real property located south of Valwood, east of Bee, west of Webb Chapel and north of 635 Council may convene into a closed executive session pursuant to Section 551.071(2) for consultation with the City Attorney regarding: · Dallas County Order requiring face coverings K. TAKE ANY ACTION NECESSARY AS A RESULT OF THE CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION L. ADJOURNMENT The City Council may convene into executive session at anytime during the Study Session or Regular meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071(2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item. Farmers Branch City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Access to the building and special parking are available at the main entrance facing William Dodson Parkway.
