CITIZEN COMMENTS Public Comment is your opportunity to address your City of Farmers Branch elected officials directly about issues that are important to and your community, but there is a process that must be followed : Speaker request form(s) will be accepted by the City Secretary from the time the agenda is posted up to 30 minutes prior to the regular meeting. Individuals will not be recognized to speak during the meeting unless this form has been submitted. This process applies to all action items listed on the agenda. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. No disparaging or inflammatory remarks directed at any member of the City Council or City staff will be allowed. When called by the Mayor, please approach the podium and state your name and address prior to beginning your comment. If you have written notes you wish to present to Mayor and Council, please furnish an extra copy for the official files. Audio/visual presentations must be submitted in advance to the City Secretary. Please direct your comments to the City Council and not the audience. D. ADJOURNMENT The City Council may convene into executive session at anytime during the Study Session or Regular meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071(2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
