A.4 22-213 Receive a report outlining on-street parking regulations for oversized
vehicles and a proposed amendment to Chapter 82 amending the
definition for prohibited and residential areas to limit the operation and
parking of oversized vehicles in certain areas

F. MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER'S REPORT ON ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST
Pursuant to Section 551.0415 of the Texas Government Code, the City Council or City Administration
may report information on the following items: 1) expression of thanks, congratulations or
condolences, 2) information about holiday schedules, 3) recognition of individuals, 4) reminders about
upcoming City events, 5) information about community events, and 6) announcements involving an
imminent threat to public health and safety, and 7) reports from Council Liaisons to supported
organizations.
G. CITIZEN COMMENTS
Public Comment is your opportunity to address your City of Farmers Branch elected officials directly
about issues that are important to and your community, but there is a process that must be followed :
Speaker request form(s) will be accepted by the City Secretary from the time the agenda is posted up
to 30 minutes prior to the regular meeting. Individuals will not be recognized to speak during the
meeting unless the Citizen Comments form has been submitted. This process applies to all action
items listed on the agenda.

There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers
on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen (15) total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone
wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. No disparaging or inflammatory remarks directed at
any member of the City Council or City staff will be allowed.
When called by the Mayor, please approach the podium and state your name and address prior to
beginning your comment. If you have written notes you wish to present to Mayor and Council, please
furnish an extra copy for the official files. Audio/visual presentations must be submitted in advance to
the City Secretary. Please direct your comments to the City Council and not the audience.
H. CONSENT AGENDA
H.1 22-196 Consider approving the following City Council meeting minutes; and take
appropriate action
· March 22, 2022 Regular Meeting
H.2 22-207 Consider excusing the absence of Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Michael Driskill
from the March 22, 2022, City Council meeting; and take appropriate
action
H.3 R2022-046 Consider approving Resolution No. 2022-046 authorizing the City Manager
to negotiate and execute an agreement for disaster recovery services with
Thinkgard, LLC; and take appropriate action
H.4 R2022-040 Consider approving Resolution No. 2022-040 authorizing the execution of
a Residential Demolition/Rebuild Program Incentive Agreement for the
owner of the property located at 2637 Dixiana Drive; and take appropriate
action

H.5 R2022-045 Consider approving Resolution No. 2022-045 for a professional services
agreement with M. Arthur Gensler, Jr & Associates, Inc. for the Station
Area Form Based Code (Planned Development No. 86) expansion; and
take appropriate action

J. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council may convene into executive session at anytime during the Study Session or Regular
meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071(2) for the purpose of seeking
confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
Farmers Branch City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Access to the building and special parking are
available at the main entrance facing William Dodson Parkway. Persons with disabilities planning to
attend this meeting who are deaf, hearing impaired or who may need auxiliary aids such as sign
interpreters or large print, are requested to contact the City Secretary at (972) 919-2503 at least 72
hours prior to the meeting.
