A. STUDY SESSION A.1 22-434 Discuss Regular Agenda items. A.2 22-466 Discussion regarding Nomination and Election of the Vice-Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission. A.3 22-494 Presentation, discussion and direction regarding possible amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance related to tree preservation for residential and non-residential zoning districts. A.4 22-435 Discuss agenda items for future Planning and Zoning Commission consideration. B CITIZEN COMMENTS City of Farmers Branch Page 1 Printed on 8/18/2022 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda August 22, 2022 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. C. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 22-465 Nomination and Election of the Vice-Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission; and take appropriate action. C.2 22-506 Consider approval of the July 25, 2022 Regular Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes; and take appropriate action. C.3 22-PL-07 Consider the request from Synergy Enterprises Inc. and Komerica Building Maintenance Inc., for final plat approval of Synergy Addition, Lots 1 - 2, Block A, located at the southeast corner of Valley View Lane and Senlac Drive; and take appropriate action. C.4 22-PL-08 Consider the request from MM Mercer Boardwalk LLC., for final plat approval of Boardwalk Mercer Addition, located on the south side of LBJ Freeway, approximately 1,200 feet east of Luna Road; and take appropriate action. C.5 22-SP-08 Consider the request for a Detailed Site Plan amendment for an office/warehouse building on an approximately 1.52-acre tract located at 13100 Senlac Drive; and take appropriate action. E. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
