AN ORDINANCE: That Chapter 3-210 of the Code of the City of Fitchburg, entitled “Purchasing procedures” as most recently amended, be further amended by deleting subsection C in its entirety and by inserting in place thereof the following: C. The purchase of items costing less than $10,000 by an employee having delegated authority from the Chief Procurement Officer pursuant to MGL c.30B, §19, may be made, provided that such procurement shall be obtained through the exercise of sound business practices.
