Notice of Public Hearing Pursuant to M.G.L. c.121A §6B, notice is hereby given that the City of Fitchburg’s City Council and Planning Board will hold a joint public hearing on September 18, 2018 at 7:00 P.M at Memorial Middle School library, 615 Rollstone St. Fitchburg MA to review the M.G.L. c.121A application submitted by NewVue Liabilities to Assets (NVLTA) located at 470 Main Street, Fitchburg MA. NVLTA is a Chapter 180 nonprofit corporation formed to facilitate the redevelopment of primarily one and two family properties in five participating communities that will be or have been vacant for 3 years, are deteriorated or contribute to blight conditions, and have a negative impact on their surrounding neighborhoods. Ninety-one properties have been identified in the five participating communities. The following Fitchburg properties have been included in the NVLTA application and may be redeveloped as part of this project: 58 Mt Globe St, 52/54 Mt Globe St, 4 Upton, 29 Goodwin, 18 Mt Vernon Street, 127 -129 Mt Vernon Street, 69 Marshall St, 94 Marshall St, 15 Marshall, 30 Ryefield, 73 Mechanic St, 5 Oxford St, 8 Jay St, 34 Garnet, 94 Pleasant St, 137 Green St, 28 Taft, 425 North, 353 Blossom Street, 9 Payson St, 12 Nashua St, 14 Cross St, 33 Forest St, 35 Birch St, 54 Milk St, 64 Nashua St, 67 South St, 80 South St, 108 Birch St, 177 Milk St, 196 Hazel St, and 479 Milk St. Interested persons may attend the hearing and give oral comments, or they may submit written comments which must be received by 4:30PM on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 by mailing, e-mailing or faxing to: Anna M.
