Welcome to a meeting of the Fontana City Council.
Welcome to a meeting of the Fontana City Council. A complete agenda packet is located in
the binder on the table in the lobby of the Grover W. Taylor Council Chambers 8353 Sierra
Avenue Fontana, CA 92335. To address the Council, please fill out a card located at the
entrance to the right indicating your desire to speak on either a specific agenda item or under
Public Communications and give it to the City Clerk. Your name will be called when it is your
turn to speak. In compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 USC § 12132),
the Grover W. Taylor Council Chambers 8353 Sierra Avenue Fontana, CA 92335 is
wheelchair accessible, and a portable microphone is available. Upon request, this agenda will
be made available in appropriate alternative forms to persons with disabilities, as required by

This is an opportunity for members of the public to address the City Council for up to three ( 3)

Avenue
Accept Parcel Map No. 20250 located north of Slover Avenue, west of Juniper
Avenue, east of Cypress Avenue, and south of the I-10 Freeway; accept as
public dedicated streets and easements; and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk
to certify the abandonment of a certain portion of right of way of Boyle Avenue.

G. Award Center Stage Audio Visual System Update 21-1945
Award bid and authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Matrix
Audio Visual Designs to provide equipment and services to upgrade the audio

I. 2021 Edward Bryne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) 21-1952
1. Approve the Interlocal Agreement with the Town of Apple Valley, the Cities of
Adelanto, Apple Valley, Barstow, Chino, Colton, Fontana, Hesperia,
Highland, Montclair, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Rialto, San
Bernardino, Upland, Victorville, and the County of San Bernardino,
concerning distribution of the 2021 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice
Assistance Grant (JAG) in the amount of $54,155;
2. Authorize the City Manager to sign the Interlocal Agreement on behalf of the
City of Fontana for the 2021 Justice Assistance Grant and any other
documents and/or amendments required to comply with this grant award;
3. Approve allocation of funds to purchase law enforcement equipment to assist
in responding to or investigate crimes.
4. Increase revenues in the amount of $51,447; and appropriate $51,447 in

certain Employee Contributions to the City’s PTS-OBRA Plan
pursuant to IRS Code Section 414(h)(2)
1. Adopt Resolution No. 2023-005, for the employer pick-up of certain
employee contributions to the City’s PTS-OBRA Plan pursuant to Internal
Revenue Code section 414(h)(2).
2. Authorize the City Manager and appropriate members of City staff to execute
