Regular Meeting Minutes of the Fountain City Common Council
Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 6:00 PM
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by Mayor Ben Adank. Roll call: Christine Williamson, Barb Schmidtknecht,
Peter Schaffner, Stephen Qualy, Scott Feraro, and David Endres, present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Motion Chris, second Stephen to approve the minutes from Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Motion carried.
Motion Peter, second David to approve the CMAR (Compliance Maintenance Annual Report) Resolution 02-2025.
Motion carried.
Motion Barb, second Stephen to approve the 2025 – 2026 Liquor licenses as published in the Buffalo County New on
May 22, 2025 and Operator licenses for: Alexandryia Ryan, Michelle Marks, Kimberly Pickering, Erica Severson, Amanda
Klasinski, Beth Adank, Brittany Prieur, Lorie Rolbiecki, Lena Deas, Sandy Davis, Elliot Kozlowski, Joshua Pratt, Autumn
Hirschboeck, Zenaida Ibarra, Joseph Dodson, Laurie Laska, Sheila Thoeny, Alyssa Fritze, Angel Rojas, Anna Camacho,
Amanda Isakson, Brooke Otterson-Engel, Shanna Feyen, Loran Wirtala, Lisa Schreiber, Kristin Dodson, Kelli Bartsch, and
Alyssa Marty. Motion carried.
Motion Peter, second Chris to award the FFP Construction contract bid for $1,539,300 to Simmons Construction pending
attorney recommendations. Motion carried.
Motion Barb, second Stephen to approve additional public works projects proposed by Dunn Blacktop for Mill St parking
lot, ballpark road repair and basketball court overlay for $50,520. Motion carried.
Motion Chris, second Scott to approve an increase of the garbage bag fee from $3.50 to $4.00. Motion carried.
Motion Peter, second David to approve payment of the bills as presented. Motion carried.
Motion Peter, second David to adjourn at 6:53 pm. Motion carried.
