FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING
October 15, 2025 – 3:00 PM
Council Chambers, 42 N. Main Street

The meeting was called to order at 3:00 pm by Barb Schmidtknecht. Roll call: Chris Williamson,
Stephen Qualy, Barb Schmidtknecht all present. Others present: Mayor Ben Adank, Marcia
Larson, Michele Klein. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Motion Stephen, second Chris to approve the minutes of the October 1, 2025 Finance
Committee meeting. Motion carried and minutes were approved.
The 2026 proposed budgets were finalized. Assigned funds and a loan will supplement the
general fund budget. It is anticipated that the city’s portion of taxes will increase approximately
$58 per $100,000 property value.
Motion to adjourn by Chris, second Barb. Motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 5:30
pm.
