POLICE/PERSONNEL & HEALTH/SAFETY COMMITTEE MEETING
March 25, 2026 - 4:00 pm

The meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm by Barb Schmidtknecht. Roll call: David Endres,
Peter Schaffner and Barb Schmidtknecht all present. Others present: Mayor Ben Adank and
Clerk-Treasurer Marcia Larson. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Motion Peter, second David to approve the minutes of the March 10, 2026 meeting. Motion
carried and minutes were approved.
The proposed city administrator-treasurer was reconsidered and information posted on the
website was reviewed. Motion Peter, second Barb to recommend to Council to move forward
with the city administrator-treasurer position. Motion carried with 2-1 vote with David Endres
voting no.
The library position and search will be removed from the agenda. The search will be
coordinated by the library board once it is established.
To consider a motion to convene in Closed Session under section 19.85(1)(c) of the
Wisconsin Statutes for the purpose of considering employment, promotion,
compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the
governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.
Motion Peter, second David to go into closed session. Roll call: Peter, David, and Barb all voting
yes. The meeting went into closed session at 5:10 pm.

The meeting returned to open session at 5:41 pm.
Motion Peter second Barb to adjourn. Motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 5:43
pm.
