‭BOH MEETING MINUTES‬ ‭November 6, 2024‬ ‭In attendance: Bridget Sweet, Chair: Jeff Harris, Vice Chair, Kim Mu-Chow, Member; Cathleen Liberty,‬ ‭Director; Alicia Sullivan; Public Health Nurse‬ ‭Guests: Steve Sherlock (via Google Meet)‬ ‭CALL TO ORDER: ► Vice Chair Harris called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm.‬ ‭APPROVAL OF MINUTES: ►October 2, 2024.‬ ‭►MOTION to Approve the October 2, 2024 meeting minutes Mu-Chow. SECOND by Sweet. No‬ ‭discussion. ►ROLL CALL VOTE: Mu-Chow-YES; Harris-YES, Sweet-YES, ►VOTE: Yes-3,‬ ‭No-0.‬ ‭NEW BUSINESS‬ ‭Vote on IMA for the Public Health Excellence for Shared Services Grant‬ ‭Director Liberty noted that originally the town had a Memory of Understanding with Wrentham and‬ ‭Norfolk for scope of services but DPH has given an Intermunicipal Agreement(IMA) that includes an‬ ‭Advisory Board consisting of the health directors to be implemented to vote on the budget and workplan,‬ ‭etc.. The IMA needs to be voted on by the board of health and signed by the Chair.‬ ‭MOTION to approve the signing of the IMA by Mu-Chow. SECOND by Harris. ROLL CALL‬ ‭Vote: Mu-Chow YES, Harris, YES and Sweet, YES. VOTE: Yes-3, No-0.‬ ‭American Heart Association discussion‬ ‭Director Liberty noted that the library and the health department has partnered with the AMA to have a‬ ‭self monitoring blood pressure table at the library along with five blood pressure kits for the Library of‬ ‭Things to be checked out by the library patrons.‬ ‭Franklin Community Coat Drive discussion‬ ‭Member Mu-Chow noted that the town is having a winter coat drive from November 18-December 7.‬ ‭Donations can be dropped off at the fire department, the United Methodist church and Hockomock‬ ‭YMCA.‬ ‭Metacomet Shared Service Grant Inspector Update‬ ‭Director Liberty noted that Kerry was on an inspection but her report was in the board of health packet.‬ ‭Metacomet Public Health Nurse Update‬ ‭The public health nurse gave her monthly update as well.‬ ‭New business not known at time of posting‬ ‭The board members received a letter from the Town Administrator in Norwood is looking for support‬ ‭from the board of health regarding the Norwood Hospital. Chair Sweet asked that Director Liberty write‬ ‭the letter of support and then have the board members sign it.‬ ‭CITIZENS COMMENTARY‬ ‭None‬ ‭ADJOURNMENT‬ ‭►MOTION to adjourn at 5:20 by Mu-Chow.
