‭BOH MEETING MINUTES‬ ‭February 19, 2025‬ ‭In attendance: Jeff Harris, Vice Chair, Kim Mu-Chow, Member; Cathleen Liberty, Director; Ginny‬ ‭McNeil, Health Agent‬ ‭CALL TO ORDER: ► Vice Chair Harris called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm.‬ ‭APPROVAL OF MINUTES:‬ ‭HEARING for‬‭Sunshine Lily Spa request for a hearing‬‭for violation‬ ‭Director Liberty had sent a violation notice to the spa for not having a licensed massage therapist‬ ‭at the spa and for having a bedroom in the facility. Sunshine Lily Spa requested a hearing before‬ ‭the board regarding these violations. After much discussion with the owners of the spa the Board‬ ‭noted that the spa can’t advertise massage therapy or do massage therapy without a licensed‬ ‭massage therapist from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.‬ ‭MOTION to approve that the spa can’t advertise or conduct massage therapy without having a‬ ‭licensed massage therapist from the state. Mu-Chow SECOND by Harris. ROLL CALL Vote:‬ ‭Mu-Chow YES, Harris, YES. VOTE: Yes-2, No-0.‬ ‭ADJOURNMENT‬ ‭►MOTION to adjourn at 5:25 by Mu-Chow.
