250th Anniversary Celebration Committee Minutes December 4, 2025 7:00 PM Meeting was held at the Municipal Building Training Room, E Central Street, with Ali Rheaume participating by Zoom. Appointees/members present: Robert Brown, Dan Brunelli, Julie Cornoni, Matt Keras , Leone Mulligan, Lynn Pickhover, Ali Rheaume, Charleen Belcher, Swati Rao, Roberta Trahan, Jayson Joyce, Alan Earls, Maureen Brennan Also present: Director of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Cory Shea 1. ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE CHAIR 1. Rob and Jayson reaching out to other communities. Hoping to have committee official email to facilitate. A particular goal is to get insight into their budget and spending. 2. Google Drive access will be available to all on commission 3. New member from Dean Bank: Maureen Brennan 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. November 20, 2025 (unanimous) 3. MISSION/VISION DRAFT FEEDBACK Jayson invited Earls to speak about his draft mission/vision document. He briefly described his motivation and summarized the content. It was approved by vote with some suggestions for minor additions and revisions. 4. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS & DISCUSSION 1. Branding/Communication Subcommittee 1. Brand framing: Julie Cornoni noted that ideally the client would work iteratively with her in person but since that isn’t practical, she composed a lengthy questionaire and request everyone to complete (online) by Friday, Dec. 12 2. Survey; Julie said she didn’t think a broader survey of the town relative to the brand was needed at this point 3. Website domain & WIX plan: The exact type of Wix site is TBD. Earls to determine how to transfer domain to town/committee. 2. Budgeting/Fundraising Subcommittee: Jayson asked to have proposed spending determined and ready to vote on by Dec. 18 meeting.  FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS & MEMBER COMMENTS  Ali suggest items for budget that could improve accessibility and ensure ADA compliance.  Swati suggested budgeting for yard signs to promote the 250th   Subcommittees are as follows: >Branding and Communication; Julie C., Rob B, Alan E, Ali R, Lyn P > Events:Roberta T., Rob B, Charleen B, Jayson J >Funding: Dan B., Maureen B., Matt K.  Future agenda item could be ethical use of AI  Rob proposed idea of a ‘gala’ 6.
