250th Anniversary Celebration Committee Approved Minutes December 18, 2025 7:00 PM Meeting was held at the Municipal Building Training Room, E Central Street, with Ali Rheaume participating by Zoom. Appointees/members present: Robert Browne, Dan Brunelli, Julie Cornoni, Matt Keras , Leone Mulligan, Lynn Pickhover, Ali Rheaume, Charleen Belcher, Swati Rao, Roberta Trahan, Jayson Joyce, Alan Earls, Maureen Brennan Also present: Director of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Cory Shea 1. Came to order at about 7:02 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of December 3, 2025 Approved with one abstention 3. SUBCOMMITTEE CREATION VOTE To “make it official” the full committee voted without dissent to create three subcommittees, namely: 1. Communication, Events, and Budgeting/Fundraising 2. These subcommittees are subject to open-meeting laws, meaning they must post agendas 48 ‘business hours’ in advance and post minutes after the meeting 3. Membership Is as follows: ◦ Communications and Branding (Julie, Alan, Rob, Lyn, Ali, Jayson, Debbie) ◦ Events (Roberta, Rob, Charleen, Lee, Jayson, Debbie) ◦ Budget & Fundraising (Matt, Dan, Swati, Maureen, Charleen, Jayson, Rob) 4. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS & DISCUSSION Discussion included  ● Events Subcommittee...likely event dates, namely a Fundraising gala (9/2026), parade & fireworks (9/2028), and closing gala (11/2028); as well as a potential donors luncheon for mid-2028; deposits and funding for venues were also discussed ● Comm and Branding …the subcommittee proposed multiple items for the earmark funding and with feedback from the full committee agreed to revisit the topic at a later date. Julie Cornoni also shared results from the survey of committee members. ● Budgeting and Fundraising worked on rough budget and with feedback will finalize for a vote at the January meeting. 5. DETERMINING FUTURE MEETING CADENCE & LOCATION The committee voted to hold the next three meetings on the fourth Tuesday of every month) 1. 1/22 @ 7:00 at Municipal Building 2. 2/26 @ 7:00 at Municipal Building 3. 3/26 @ 7:00 at Municipal Building 6.
