Present were Chair Rodriguez, Vice-Chair Markel, Secretary Braman, Rev. Michael Hirsch, Pastor of Calvary Christian Church, and Director of Elections, Marc Hoffman. Chair Rodriguez made a motion, seconded by Vice Chair Markel, to amend the Minutes as follows: Page 2: Delete first sentence Page 3: “correct” at bottom page. Vote was unanimous to accept changes. Chair Rodriguez made a motion, seconded by Secretary Braman, to add items to the Agenda: First Item: Discuss with Rev. Hirsch the suitability of the Calvary Christian Church as a polling precinct. Second Item:Director’s Report Third Item: Defer discussion of PrintElect’s Contract to the July meeting. Discussion followed: Motion voted as follows: Yea Nay Chair Rodriguez Vice Chair Markel Secretary Braman Chair Rodriguez made a motion, seconded by Secretary Braman, as follows: The Electoral Board has visited and evaluated Calvary Christian Church and Found it would be suitable as a future polling location. Page 2 Vote was as follows: Yea Nay Chair Rodriguez Vice Chair Markel Secretary Braman Rev. Hirsch left the meeting. Discussion of Officer of Election Training as follows: Precinct Date Time 201/401 May 16 6-8 301/402 May 18 6-8 101/Extra May 20 9-11 CAP May 20 12-2 Director of Election Report attached. Custodian Mr. Amin schedule will be given to Director Hoffman. Director Hoffman will contact the Officers of Election to have them call him about new badges.
