February 14, 2023 The Fredericktown Village council met in special session on February 14, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fredericktown Municipal Building. PRESENT: Council Members Brewer, de Rojas, Hobson, Lanuzza, McKnight, and Shoemaker; Village Administrator Snell; Fiscal Officer Graves. Mayor Day called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Purpose of meeting was to discuss Downtown Streetscape Project: • Village was notified by ODOT that there was only one bid on the project that was almost 1 million over the bid estimate. The options were to have the project rebid, or rebid with lighter deadline restrictions. ODOT says that the project does not have to be completed in 2023, it can be finished in 2024 and wanted a response from the Village by end of day, February 14th. Lanuzza made a motion to have ODOT have the project rebid with lighter deadline restrictions. Seconded by Shoemaker, all Yea. ADJOURNMENT – Shoemaker made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Brewer.
