AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE Meeting Minutes: August 7, 2014, 8:00 a.m. 1. Meeting called to order with the reading of the Open Meeting announcement. Meeting was called to order at 8:00 am with the reading of the open meeting announcement. 2. Roll call. Board members present: Eric Johnson, Ron Vlach, Cecilia Harry, Mike McGillick, Bill Dugan, Guests: Scott Getzschman, Jim Kjeldgaard, David Goedeken, Ken Cox 3. Discuss and review comments for Terminal Master Plan. Board feels Option #2 is the preferred location. Easier to find the Terminal Area Visibility of Runway from Terminal Area Better access to 23rd Street ADG should contact FBO regarding actual usage of the airport by plane type Discussed if economic benefits should be included in report. Discussed the benefits of going with Option #1 with the access directly onto Airport Road. Ease of access off Airport Road. Discussed effects of future 23rd Street Viaduct Project. Should sections of the study regarding the present and future use of the airport be cut from the report. These sections add to the wordiness and may draw away from the intent. Board suggests including the Terminal Condition Report as part of the study package. Make spelling corrections. Discussed need for the full content of Sections 2 and 3 or the possibility of condensing these sections. 4. Adjournment. Meeting was adjourned

Roll call. 3. Discuss and review comments for Terminal Master Plan. 4. Adjournment. Agenda posted at the Municipal Building and distributed to the Mayor and Board Members on August 5, 2014. The official current copy is available at City Hall, 400 East Military, City Planning Department Office. The Board reserves the right to go into Executive Session when necessary. A copy of the Open Meeting Law is posted at the Airport terminal building for review by the public. The Board reserves the right to adjust the order of items on this agenda.
