AIRPORT ADVISORY COMMITTEE Meeting Minutes: June 17th, 2022 1. Meeting called to order with Open Meeting announcement. Meeting was called to order at 8:15 A.M. Open Meeting Act is posted on the wall of the Airport Terminal, the Act Poster was pointed out to those in attendance. 2. Roll call. Board Members: Present: Ron Spahni, Dave Monke, Bob Steenblock, Eric Johnson, Jeff Peterson Guests: David Goedeken, Jim Kjeldgaard, Greg Kjeldgaard, Jody Sander, Steve Landholm, Tammy McKeighan, Ron Vlach, Joey Spellerberg, Ken Cox 3. Approval of the May 20th, 2022 meeting minutes. Motion by Dave Monke, and seconded by Ron Spahni, to approve the May 20th, 2022 minutes with amendments, motion passed by vote of members, (all voting yes on role call vote) 4. Update on Terminal Projects. Staff reported that the Terminal Project is in the final punchlist phase of construction. The City building inspections department has been doing final inspections and making punch lists. Staff met with the contractor at the site to go over exterior issues needing to be completed. Items of work to complete are misc. caulking and joint sealing, grading work, concrete repair, etc. 5. Annual Fireworks Show, July 3rd, rain date, July 4th. Staff reported the City Council has approved the use of the Airport for the fireworks show, no further action was taken. 6. Action Items to discuss. a. Runway Rehab. b. Future ALP c. Development of Grass Runway d. FBO Hangar e. Storage Hangar Staff discussed they were in contact with the NDA regarding all the items and had invited NDA staff to attend the July Board meeting to speak directly to the board. 7. Discussion of Maintenance Items.  Discussed spraying of the weekds on the runway and around the runway. It was suggested the terminal get a fire extinguisher. The Board inquired on the status of the haying contractor, staff reported there is a contract with a local farmer for the harvesting of the hay. 8. Adjournment. Motion by Ron Spahni and seconded by Jeff Peterson, to adjourn, motion passed by vote of members, (all voting yes on role call vote) Meeting was adjourned at 9:15 A.M..
