The Board reserves the right to adjust the order of items on this agenda.  Business Improvement District Meeting Minutes April 18, 2017, 12:00, Grace Church Present: Bob Missel, Glen Ellis, Tom Coday, Kevin Main, Vince O'Connor, Howard Krasne, Bill Parks, Roxie Kracl Absent: Jerry Johnson, Gary Pebley, Richard Register, Others Present: Shannon Mullen Meeting was called to order and it was noted that it was an open public meeting with a copy of the open public meeting law available in the room. Motion was made to approve the minutes of the March 21, 2017 meeting by Vince O'Connor and seconded by Glen Ellis. Motion carried. Shannon Mullen discussed the need to get some bids for the green space on the Ilgenfritz parking lot. Freedom Lawn Care had maintained the green space for the last three years. Shannon will solicit bids to present at a future meeting. A motion was made by Vince O'Connor and seconded by Tom Coday to write a letter in support of the Wine Experience securing a license to offer customers the opportunity to sit outside in the fenced in area on the sidewalk while drinking wine. Bob Missel agreed to write the letter to the City Council. Reports from the various subcommittees: Maintenance – Bob Missel reported that the committee will be working to have the green spaces maintained on the Ilgenfritz parking lot. It was also suggested that the committee look into replacing the trees on Main Street that could potentially block the view of the stop signs. Christmas Decorations – Kevin Main reported that the committee was working on developing in specs for the decorations so they can send out for bids. Vince O'Connor suggested that we look into leasing the decorations so we could have them up this year. Bob Missel suggested that if we use the current decorations that we own that maybe changing the bows on the wreaths would get us by for one more year. Future Projects – Glen Ellis reported that the committee had met and discussed the possibility of a new downtown group structure to include the BID, MainStreet, A Historic Preservation Commission and an Economic Development Group with an overall committee to insure all four groups have the same mission. Marketing – Had no report this month. Being that there was no other business the meeting was adjourned. Next meeting time was set for May 16th, 2017; same time and location.
