Business Improvement District Board Minutes Noon, April 20, 2021 Country Traditions 303 N. Main Street, Fremont NE 68025 and via Zoom Board Present: Tom Coday, Vince O’Connor, Brenden Murray, Jerry Johnson, J.J. Bixby, Kevin Main, Bill Parks, Roxie Kracl, Richard Register, and Howard Krasne. Absent: Ginger Rosenthal Guests: Shannon Mullen, Brian Newton, Collin Spilinek, Leslie Main, Bill Peck, John Goldsberry, Mayor Spellerberg, Jake Herre, and Kylie Carlson 1. Meeting was called to order by Chairman Coday. 2. The amount of reimbursement of $6,250 should be $6,550. A motion was made by Vince O’Connor and seconded by Jerry Johnson to approve the minutes as amended. Motion carried 10-0 3. Comments from Public – Empress Theater having a sneak preview from 11am-2pm. John Goldsberry and Kylie Carlson talked about parking and lighting around their businesses on North H Street. 4. Discussion on landscaping bids. Of the nine proposals sent out, only one bid was received. Kevin Main made motion to approve and Bill Parks seconded the motion to pay $2510.00 for the season to maintain landscaping around City Parking Lots. Motion carried 10-0. 5. Committee Reports - Financial- Any money left over in the BID will roll into the new BID once renewed by City Council. Maintenance- no report Future Projects – Will have a report to present at the May meeting. Design- no report 6. Mainstreet- Shannon reported that Concerts in the Park are a go for the month of June. Hispanic Festival set for May 8th. 7. Chairman Coday said the next meeting will be May 18th, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Country Traditions and via zoom.
