The meeting was called to order at 9:05am.
1. Roll Call
Present 3 - Chairperson Michael McDonald, Vice Chair Jack Tracy, and
Board Member Maryann Rogozinski
Absent 1 - Board Member Lynda Snauffer

A. Schedule Administrative Meeting
An administrative meeting was scheduled for March 9, 2016, at 9:00am.
The Board convened into closed session at 9:06am
B. Closed Session - Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release
[Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954]
Felicia Espinosa, Deputy City Attorney, suggested revisions to the Findings
and will send them to Ms. Larkin who will forward them to Board Counsel for
review. The item will be continued to the March 9, 2016 agenda.
3. Hearing on Disciplinary Appeal
A. Closed Session - Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release
[Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954]
The Appointing Authority's representative, Jim Schaad, Assistant Director of
Transportation, was present and was represented by Felicia Espinosa,
Deputy City Attorney. Tina Griffin, Assistant City Attorney, was also present.

The Appellant was present and was not represented.
Ms. Espinosa said the Appointing Authority was not present due to illness
and asked if the Board would continue the matter until he is unable attend,
as he is a key witness. The Appellant had no objections.
The Board then set a new hearing date of February 23, 2016, beginning at
9:00am.
The Board reconvened into open session at 9:20am and announced the decision of the
Board in accordance with the Brown Act.

scheduling on a future Civil Service Board agenda.
