Roll Call Present 4 - Chairperson Michael McDonald, Vice Chair Jack Tracy, Board Member Lynda Snauffer, and Board Member Al Smith Board Council, Craig Meredith was present and represented the Board. Acting Secretary Designee, Karnell Grijalva was also present. 2. Approval of Minutes A. April 11, 2017, April 12, 2017, and April 20, 2017 On motion of Board Member Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Tracy, that the above Action Item was approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4 - Chairperson McDonald, Vice Chair Tracy, Board Member Snauffer and Board Member Smith Old Business The Board convened into closed session at 9:10am. B. Schedule Meeting (s) to Conduct a Public Employee Discipline Appeal Hearing [Pursuant to Fresno Municipal Code Section 3-284] Decision was approved to reset third day of hearing scheduled on May 18, 2017 to July 6 & 7, 2017. 3. Closed Session - Continued Public Discipline/Dismissal/Release [Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954] Appointing Authority, Fire Chief, Kerri Donis, was present and represented by Assistant City Attorney, Tina Griffin. The Appellant and Attorney at Law, Thomas Tusan were also present. Hearing on Appeal will be continued to May 8, 2017, providing Appellant opportunity to obtain representation. 4.
