ROLL CALL Present 3 - Chairperson Michael McDonald, Vice Chair Jack Tracy, and Board Member Todd L. Cregar Board Counsel, James McCann; Acting Secretary Designee, Brooke Anderson; Assistant Director of Personnel, Jennifer Misner; Deputy City Attorney III, Jennifer DeRuosi; Deputy City Attorney, Mao Lee; Deputy City Attorney III, Brian Velez; Deputy City Attorney II, Virginia Madrid-Salazar and Director of Transportation, Joe Vargas were also present. HEARING ON APPEAL ID 24-45 Closed Session - Government Code Section 54957 Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release [Pursuant to Fresno Municipal Code Section 3-284] At 9:03 A.M. the Board convened into Closed Session to discuss pre-hearing matters regarding the Memoriam of Understanding . At 9:17 A.M. the Board convened into Executive Session to deliberate the matter. At 9:22 A.M. the Board reconvened into Closed Session and made a motion Present for report of Decision from the Board was Board Counsel; James McCann, Secretary Designee; Brooke Anderson, Deputy City Attorney III; Jennifer DeRuosi, Deputy City Attorney II; Mao Lee, Assistant Director of Transportation; Joe Vargas, Assistant Director of Personnel; Jennifer Misner, Attorney at Law; Roger Wilson and the Appeallant. The Board ruled to stay this appeal until after the outcome of the pending Arbitration. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: Chairperson McDonald, Vice Chair Tracy and Board Member Cregar. At 9:24 A.M. the Board reconvened into Open Session. 5. UNSCHEDULED COMMUNICATION Members of the public may address the Civil Service Board regarding items that are not listed on the Agenda and within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board. Each person is limited to a three (3) minute presentation. Board action on unscheduled items, if any, shall be limited to referring the item to staff for a report and possible scheduling on a future Civil Service Board agenda.
