CITY COUNCIL BOARD LIAISON REPORTS – This time is set aside for Council members to report on the responsibilities they oversee as liaisons to the City Council and goals they would like to achieve by the next Council Meeting. a. City Engineer c. City Public Works 4. AGENDA REVIEW – The City Council will review items on tonight’s Agenda. 7:30 P.M. POLICY SESSION – CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS 5. CALL TO ORDER 6. DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST 7. PUBLIC COMMENTS – The public may address the Mayor regarding issues that are not on the agenda. We ask that you please limit your comments to 3 minutes. No action may be taken on any item not on the agenda 8. CITY BUSINESS: 9. Approve of Minutes: a. April 17, 2018 Meeting b. March Check Register c. Motion to Approve or Deny Request to support the Miss Kaysville/Fruit Heights Pageant i. BACKGROUND: Fruit Heights City has supported the Pageant for a number of years with a $500.00 donation and the in-kind use of the City Hall for pageant meetings and practices. ii. d. Motion to Approve or Deny Request to support Bountiful Davis Arts Festival, Summer Fest 18 i. BACKGROUND: The Bountiful Davis Arts Council hosts a Summer Fest each year. The City has supported the Arts Council with a donation, the past 2 years the City has contributed $500.00 for the festival. ELECTRONIC MEETING: By motion of the Fruit Heights City Council, Elected Officials and City Staff can participate in regularly scheduled meetings via electronic media when approved by the Mayor. 11. CLOSED MEETING: By motion of the Fruit Heights City Council, pursuant to Title 52, Chapter 4 of the Utah Code, the City Council may vote to hold a closed meeting for any of the purposes identified in that chapter. 12. ADJOURNMENT The Next City Council Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
