CALL MEETING TO ORDER - Roll Call: Gahanna City Council met in Special Session on Monday, May 13, 2013, in Council Chambers of City Hall, 200 South Hamilton Road, Gahanna, Ohio. President of Council Stephen A. Renner called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. The meeting was called to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(d) of the Council Rules of Procedure to prepare for, conduct or review negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees concerning compensation or other terms and conditions of employment. Agenda for this special meeting was published on May 10, 2013. Present 4 - Stephen A. Renner, Ryan P. Jolley, Ryan P. Jolley, and Brian D. Larick Absent 3 - Karen J. Angelou, David L. Samuel, and Brandon Wright B. EXECUTIVE SESSION: A motion was made by Vice President of Council Jolley, seconded by Anderson, to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(d) of the Council Rules of Procedure to prepare for, conduct or review negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees concerning compensation or other terms and conditions of employment. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Renner, Jolley, Jolley, Anderson and Larick Absent: 3- Samuel, Angelou and Wright Renner requested Mayor Stinchcomb, Sue Wadley, Jennifer Teal, Ken Bell, Brandi Braun and Mike Underwood attend the Executive Session. Council rose to Executive Session at 6:32 p.m. Angelou entered the meeting's Executive Session at 6:40 p.m. Wright entered the meeting's Executive Session at 6:43 p.m. Present 6 - Stephen A.
