CALL MEETING TO ORDER - Roll Call: Gahanna City Council met in Special Session on Monday, August 19, 2013, in Council Chambers of City Hall, 200 South Hamilton Road, Gahanna, Ohio. President of Council Stephen A. Renner called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was called to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of a public employee, official, licensee or regulated individual unless such public employee, official, licensee or regulated individual requests a public hearing. Agenda for this special meeting was published on August 16, 2013. Present 4 - Stephen A. Renner, Ryan P. Jolley, Karen J. Angelou, and Brian D. Larick Absent 2 - Beryl D. Anderson, and Brandon Wright B. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Motion was made by Larick, seconded by Angelou, to go to go into Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of a public employee, official, licensee or regulated individual unless such public employee, official, licensee or regulated individual requests a public hearing Yes: 4- Renner, Jolley, Angelou and Larick Absent: 2- Anderson and Wright Council rose to Executive Session at 5:02 p.m. Member Wright entered the meeting at 5:10 p.m. Council Member Anderson entered the meeting at 5:55 p.m. Council rose to report from Executive Session at 6:58 p.m. with all members returning to the dais.
