A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER - Roll Call.
Gahanna City Council met in Special Session on Monday, December
23, 2013, in Council Chambers of City Hall, 200 South Hamilton Road,
Gahanna, Ohio. President of Council Stephen A. Renner called the
meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. The meeting was called to go into
Executive Session under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council
Rules of Procedures to discuss the appointment, employment,
dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of a public
employee, official, licensee or regulated individual unless such public
employee, official, licensee or regulated individual requests a public
hearing.
Present 4 - Stephen A. Renner, Karen J. Angelou, Brian D. Larick, and Thomas R.
Kneeland
Absent 4 - Ryan P. Jolley, Ryan P. Jolley, Beryl D. Anderson, and Brandon Wright
B. EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Motion by Larick, seconded by Angelou, to go into Executive Session
under authority of Section 5.40(a) of the Council Rules of Procedure to
consider the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline,
promotion, demotion or compensation of a public employee, official,
licensee or regulated individual unless such public employee, official,
licensee or regulated individual requests a public hearing. ROLL
CALL: Voting yes: Larick, Angelou, Kneeland, Renner. Motion
carried.
Council rose to Executive Session at 6:06 p.m. Council President
invited Council members elect Leeseberg and Schnetzer to the
Executive Session. Council rose to report from Executive Session at
6:42 p.m.
C. ADJOURNMENT: 6:43 p.m. - Motion by Larick.
