A. CALL MEETING TO ORDER - Roll Call.
Gahanna City Council met in Special Session on Monday, February
10, 2014, in Council Chambers of City Hall, 200 South Hamilton Road,
Gahanna, Ohio. President of Council Brian D. Larick called the
meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. The meeting was called to go into
Executive Session. The Meeting Agenda was published on February
6, 2014.
Present 6 - Karen J. Angelou, Thomas R. Kneeland, Brian D. Larick, Jamie
Leeseberg, Stephen A. Renner, and Michael Schnetzer
Absent 1 - Ryan P. Jolley
B. EXECUTIVE SESSION -
A motion was made by Renner, seconded by Kneeland, to go into Executive
Session under authority of Section 5.40(d) of the Council Rules of Procedure to
prepare for, conduct or review negotiations or bargaining sessions with public
employees concerning compensation or other terms and conditions of
employment. The motion carried by the following vote:
Larick requested that Mayor Stinchcomb, City Attorney Ewald, Sue Wadley,
Jennifer Teal, and outside counsel, Mike Underwood, attend the Executive
Session. Council rose to Executive Session at 6:32 p.m. Council rose to
report from Executive Session at 7:11 p.m.
Yes: 6- Angelou, Kneeland, Larick, Leeseberg, Renner and Schnetzer
Absent: 1- Jolley
C. ADJOURNMENT - motion by Larick at 7:11 p.m.
