Gahanna City Council met in Special Session on Monday, April 14, 2014, in Council Chambers of City Hall, 200 South Hamilton Road, Gahanna, Ohio. Vice President of Council Thomas R. Kneeland called the meeting to order at 7:22 p.m. The Agenda for this meeting was published on April 11, 2014. Present 5 - Karen J. Angelou, Ryan P. Jolley, Thomas R. Kneeland, Jamie Leeseberg, and Stephen A. Renner Absent 2 - Brian D. Larick, and Michael Schnetzer B. ORDINANCE ON SECOND READING - To Amend by Substitution - Regular Agenda ORD-0059-2014 TO RECLASSIFY A RECREATION SPECIALIST POSITION TO A RECREATION SUPERVISOR; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY. Kneeland read the title of the Ordinance. A motion was made by Angelou, seconded by Jolley, to amend by substitution [in the title redact "the" and replace it with "a" and add "position" after specialist]. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Angelou, Jolley, Kneeland, Leeseberg and Renner Absent: 2- Larick and Schnetzer A motion was made by Renner, seconded by Angelou, to adopt as amended.
