CALL MEETING TO ORDER Gahanna City Council met in special virtual session on Monday, February 8, 2021, via Microsoft TEAMS. President of Council Brian Larick called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Agenda for this meeting was published on February 5, 2021. Present 7 - Brian D. Larick, Jamie Leeseberg, Stephen A. Renner, Michael Schnetzer, Karen J. Angelou, Merisa Bowers, and Nancy R. McGregor B. EXECUTIVE SESSION: A motion was made to go into executive session by Bowers, seconded by Renner, The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7- Larick, Leeseberg, Renner, Schnetzer, Angelou, Bowers and McGregor C. MOTIONS TO NOMINATE FOUR (4) MEMBERS TO THE 2021 CHARTER REVIEW COMMISSION: Nomination of Sheila Vitale to the 2021 Charter Review Commission A nomination was made by Leeseberg, seconded by Schnetzer, to nominate Sheila Vitale to the 2021 Charter Review Commission.The nomination was approved by the following vote: Yes: 5- Larick, Leeseberg, Schnetzer, Angelou and McGregor No: 2- Renner and Bowers City of Gahanna Page 1 City Council - Special Meeting Minutes February 8, 2021 Nomination of Ross Beckman to the 2021 Charter Review Commission A nomination was made by Schnetzer, seconded by Leeseberg, to nominate Ross Beckman to the 2021 Charter Review Commission.The nomination was approved by the following vote: Yes: 7- Larick, Leeseberg, Renner, Schnetzer, Angelou, Bowers and McGregor Nomination of Isobel Sherwood to the 2021 Charter Review Commission A nomination was made by Angelou, seconded by Renner, to nominate Isobel Sherwood to the 2021 Charter Review Commission.The nomination was approved by the following vote: Yes: 7- Larick, Leeseberg, Renner, Schnetzer, Angelou, Bowers and McGregor Nomination of Jamie McKenna to the 2021 Charter Review Commission A nomination was made by McGregor, seconded by Bowers, to nominate Sheila Vitale to the 2021 Charter Review Commission.The nomination was approved by the following vote: Yes: 5- Larick, Renner, Schnetzer, Bowers and McGregor No: 2- Leeseberg and Angelou D.
