Angelou, and Michael Schnetzer ITEM FROM THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT ORD-0016-2017 TO ACCEPT THE GENERAL WARRANTY DEED FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 181 GRANVILLE STREET FROM THE GAHANNA COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT CORPORATION (CIC). Jones said we are discussing the transfer of 181 Granville Street; the term for a previous contract has concluded; have worked with legal to prepare the deed; is drafted and attached; said there is a property sale purchase contingent upon; an emergency would help expedite the sale of previous legislation; Larick said would rather not. RECOMMENDATION: Consent Agenda. ITEM FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT MR-0005-2017 MOTION RESOLUTION TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT OF FRED KAUSER, MIFFLIN TOWNSHIP FIRE CHIEF, AS THE MUNICIPAL FIRE SAFETY INSPECTOR, FOR THE PERIOD OF APRIL 1, 2017 TO MARCH 31, 2018. Chief Dennis Murphy said this is an annual appointment; asking for confirmation. RECOMMENDATION: Consent Agenda. City of Gahanna Page 1 Committee of the Whole Meeting Minutes February 13, 2017 ITEM FROM THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE ORD-0017-2017 TO AMEND PART ELEVEN, PLANNING AND ZONING CODE, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA. Franey said when Building and Zoning came to the Service Department, they needed to review Chapter 11; did a high-level review; made corrections to grammatical errors; made other small changes to reflect processes that had changed over the years; a summary was provided to Council as the entire document is large; McGregor asked about 1105.06(a)(3), is there a word missing; bottom of page 4; Franey said will check that and see; said you can also email Franey any questions and she will get to the entire group. RECOMMENDATION: Introduction, back to Committee of the Whole. ITEM FROM THE CLERK OF COUNCIL MR-0004-2017 MOTION RESOLUTION THAT THIS COUNCIL HAS NO OBJECTION TO THE TRANSFER OF A C1, C2, AND D6 LIQUOR PERMIT FOR JB & B LLC, DBA ALPINE BEVERAGE DRIVE THRU, 210 GRANVILLE STREET, GAHANNA, OHIO 43230. Banning said this is a liquor transfer; Police Department had no objections. RECOMMENDATION: Consent Agenda.
