Renner Nancy McGregor Kimberly Banning, CMC, Clerk of Council Monday, October 24, 2016 Council Committee Rooms CALL TO ORDER Chair Schnetzer called the meeting to order at 8:41 p.m. DISCUSSION ITEM FROM THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE: 1. 2016 Q3 Financial Update Bury said nothing new to report; business as usual; higher in revenues and lower in expenditures; revenues are up from 2015 as well as expenditures; will end the year with 1 million in excess funds; Angelou asked if the last quarter is typically less; Bury said expenditures will increase slightly; bond is due at the beginning of December; we are roughly about the same as we were last year; Schnetzer asked if capital will trail off; Bury said projects weather related will trail off; Schnetzer asked about RITA data; if we can get a state of the economy; Bury said will reach back out; they have a workforce report they typically provide; still do not have 2015 information; hopefully as we get closer they will be able to give updated information. 2016-0332 2016 Q3 Financial Update ADJOURNMENT 8:45 p.m. Kayla Holbrook, reporting.
