CALL MEETING TO ORDER Board Member Eric Miller called the Parks & Recreation Board meeting to order on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 7:07 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Moehring arrived at 7:09 p.m.; Ross arrived at 7:35 p.m.; Piccolantonio arrived at 7:55 p.m. Present: 6 - Eric Miller, Andy Piccolantonio, Jan Ross, Ken Shepherd, Cynthia Franzmann and Daphne Moehring Absent: 1 - Chrissy Kaminski C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion was made by Shepherd, seconded by Miller, to approve the minutes from the April 10, 2019 meeting. DIRECTOR'S REPORT Barr stated that the department has completed a draft of the Strategic Business Plan. It is an internal document that will help guide each division by collecting metrics. J. COMMITTEE REPORTS a. Bicycle & Trail Advisory Committee (BTAC) Barr stated that the group will begin meeting again soon. b. Veteran's Advisory Committee Shepherd previously e-mailed the agenda for the dedication ceremony on May 27, 2019 at 1 p.m. K. Gahanna Parks & Recreation Foundation Miller shared that the Foundation discussed Creekside Live, Hops & Vines. Ross shared that volunteers are needed for Hops & Vines. b. School Board Report Moehring shared that graduation is on May 25, 2019. L.
