Agenda BID Board meeting, June 16, 2016, 3 PM, Rico Motors Guest: Rose Eason, Executive Director, Gallup ARTS Voting items: FY 2016-2017 budget; striping for parking lot and street parking. Reports: Financial Report. Met with City Attorney to review lien for property that is being sold. Annual Major Business Recognition Luncheon. EDD Secretary John Barela thanked us for incubating Gallup Main Street Arts & Cultural District organization. Meeting of GEDA Economic Development sub-committee. Meeting with City Attorney to review what additional steps can be taken to secure commercial commuter airline service for Gallup. Met with architect working on floor plan and design renderings for the Ricca Merc building. Met with manager of Gallup office of New Mexico Workforce to set up an account for MainStreet Arts & Cultural District and filed job posting for GMSACD Executive Director. BID Executive Committee met to review FY 17 draft budget, Rt. 66 and sidewalk replacement projects. Ride Flight Cruise planning on schedule. TV commercial completed. Idea for management of troublesome persons in walkway: - Move bus stop away from walkway at Aztec Proposal for downtown sidewalk litter pick-up during summer season. Agreement with Red Rock Security for downtown security patrols. Sign grant program applicants and sign makers notified that they have been approved for reimbursement under the terms of the BID program. Adjourn.
