Agenda BID Board meeting, September 22, 2016, Rico Motors Guest: Gallup Chief of Police Introduction of Jon DeYoung, new City of Gallup appointee to BID Board. Approval of minutes of August 18, 2016 meeting Voting items: Request for funds – Land of Enchantment Opera. BID facade improvement reimbursement request - Gordo’s exterior improvements: stucco, painting. Request for marketing support for annual Gallup UFO Film Festival at El Morro Theater. Funding for Historic Building Plaque program, which will be run jointly with Gallup MainStreet Arts & Cultural District. Reports: Financial report. BID Board voted unanimously to approve pledge of $25,000. as a match grant to a grant that City of Gallup is seeking for improvement of West Coal Avenue, per Gallup MRA Plan. BID approval is contingent upon similar agreement by McKinley County and City of Gallup to pledge matching funds for this grant. If City of Gallup secures the grant, B.I.D. $25,000 will be spent from FY 2017 budget. Meeting of B.I.D. property owners has been scheduled for October 8th, , 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM, in Second Street Event Space. Meeting with City of Gallup Electric Department to discuss three scenarios for locations and pricing options for a downtown lighting project. BID request letter for conversion to angled parking on 3rd Street was given to City of Gallup Update on possible downtown security camera project. Update on current cycle of B.I.D. sign grant program; plan for next cycle. Gallup MainStreet Arts & Cultural District update. Rt 66/ NM 118 pedestrian safety improvement project update. Adjourn
