MINUTES
Call to order
Attendance – Present: A. Baca, A. Biava, J. DeYoung, L. Garcia, M.
Menapace, J. Rich, M. Ustick. Absent, excused: S. Gurley, L. Bonaguidi.
Guest: Eric Babcock, Interim Director, Gallup Electric Department, Presnted
current Electric Department plan to upgrade the electrical grid in City of
Gallup.
Motion to approve Minutes for December 20 BID Board meeting: J. Rich;
2nd: A. Baca. Abstain: M. Ustick. Approved
Motion to approve Monthly Financial Report: L. Garcia; 2nd: M. Menapace.

1. Front window of Embroidery Shop: 123W. Coal Avenue –
2nd Avenue side of bldg.

Legislature – Finance Committee
January 4 – Pinnacle Bank, with Anna Biava – arranged for credit card for
BID Arts Crawl Coordinator Rhonda Quintana. Planning meeting with R.
Quintana for 2019 events, including January 12 “Annual Brainstorm” at the
Event Center
January 9 – Meeting with Fr. Matt Keller, Sacred Heart Parish. No progress
yet with the litigation over the property at 4th & Aztec.
January 10 – Meeting with Evan Williams, MWMNCOG, to discuss plans for
fund seeking for Coal Avenue Commons Project.
