Gallup Business Improvement District Special Meeting Wednesday, July 1, 2019, 3:00 PM Rico Motors Minutes Call to order – 3:08 pm Attendance: roll call - Present: Louie Bonaguidi, Steve Gurley, A. Biava, Bob Rosebrough, Sammy Chioda, Mickey Menapace, Brett Newberry, James Rich. Participating remotely by phone: A. Baca, Jr Excused absence: JM De Young, Maryann Ustick Voting item: Security contract for Downtown bicycle security patrols from July 2 through Labor Day, with possibility of extending for part of September if needed. Discussion of the proposals received from Blackstone Security and Red Rock Security. Motion to approve contract with Red Rock Security for two guards from Monday through Saturday at rate of $18.50 per hour, plus tax: B. Rosebrough; 2nd: S. Chioda. Unanimously approved. Motion for hours during which guards will be working downtown – from 11:00 am to 9 pm: S. Gurley; 2nd: A. Biava. Unanimously approved. Motion to adjourn: S. Gurley; 2nd: J. Rich. Unanimously approved.
